In your opinion, would the green lantern suit really be better with a full body spandex/leather suit instead of cgi? or is cgi still better for green lantern characters (given enough time to polish them). the coloring, the contrast, we can see how fake it is. but the cgi is so bad, especially the mask. i agree using cgi since the suit is energy, having a real spandex etc suit would not be that suitable. however, the filmmaker establish that the use of cgi instead of a full suit is due to the suit being created by energy. One of the major complains about the green lantern movie is also the bad cgi, ryan reynolds even have to make fun of it in deadpool to not be green or animated.
